From 2016 forward my life was in constant change, with emotional and physical turmoil. It felt as if no matter what I did, the hits kept coming.
For the next five years, I struggled with situations rather than confronting my vision of the way life should be. On January 19th, 2021, I suffered what Chip Conley in his excellent book Learning to Love Midlife calls a Near Death Experience. The instantaneous, abrupt turn in life’s course illustrated to me in stark relief that my path would change, must change, whether I liked it or not.
Hearing these words from Erik Krueger crystallized feelings I had been having for a long time, and motivated me to share with you. These writings capture some lessons, including sucesses, failures, and everything in between, that I’ve experienced along the path of midlife since that fateful moment.
I draw on these experiences, and so much more, to help others navigate change in their lives and businesses, and I invite you to join me.
